 We’re wrapping up our live coverage for today, but before we go, here’s a quick look at the key headlines from across the Middle East:

Twenty-one people in northern Lebanon died in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Aitou as per the Lebanese health ministry. This is the first time Israel has attacked this Christian-majority area in the past one year of operations. Israel has not yet reacted to the intended strike or replied to the call by the United Nations for peace negotiations.

More to the south, fierce fighting erupted between Hezbollah and Israeli forces along the border, as the party said it was engaged at several fronts.

Alisa however noted that the Israeli military claims to have found an 800-meter deep compound belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. It was said that the bunker housed missiles, motorbikes, and provisions.

The UN Palestinian refugee agency said that 10 people were shot dead at a food distribution center in the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza. Israeli forces have been deployed in the area, saying their purpose is to neutralize Hamas militants. The UN criticized the high civilian loss in the northern area of Gaza.

Last but not least in Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that Hezbollah fired over 100 rockets from Lebanon –majority of which were downed or fell in unpopulated areas.
